“What really knocks me out is a book that, when you’re all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn’t happen much, though.”—J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye (via rosettabooks)
Could you please share how would/do you sort your fiction book library? I've ruled out alphabetical order, because adding new books means reordering the whole thing. Another suggestion I got was by the author's nationality, but I can't say I like the idea.
Hmmm, tough, I usually just order my books in alphabetical order because it’s easier to keep track of things. But I understand that it is sometimes I hassle to re-order it every time you get a new book, how about just based on book length or based on when you want to read it or when you’ve read it? Any other suggestions?
I was wondering if your other followers are having the same problem as I do when I go to your page. Every time I go to your Tumblr and like something on your page, when i go back to my likes on my Tumblr, it doesn't show up what I liked only from your Tumblr. Anyone else having the same problem?
Oh dear, that’s not good, is anyone else having the same problem as this lovely anon?
First of all, your blog is too beautiful for words. It gives me comfort and warmth though, and it's nice to find someone who breathes books just like me. :) Also I REALLY recommend the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning if you haven't read them already. Her books are amazing with great character transformations and developments and completely unpredictable. First book is Darkfever, and each book gets better. Sorry for geeking out here lol.
You are so incredible and sweet. Thank you so much, this makes me really happy. I love books, as you can probably tel.
I put Fever on my to-reads list on Goodreads! Thank you so much for recommending. Haha, oh please, never apologize for “geeking out” if I am not a geek, I do not know what geek is! Haha, I heart geeks. Anyway, thanks for recommending, sweetheart, I really appreciate it!
I absolutely love your Tumblr. I know it is hard, but what would be your top 5 recent books? I just finished The Divergent Series and I am in mourning. So I need something to take my mind of it. Ha!
Haha, thanks darling! I’m glad you like it so much. I haven’t read Allegiant yet! I have gotten mixed reviews, so I have been hesitant to read it. To put it off, until I cannot possibly wait any longer. Right now, I can wait, however.
Well, I’m currently reading Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman, I believe I recently finished A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, Night by Elie Wiesel, Love, Dishonor, Marry, Die, Cherish, Perish by David Rakoff, and Unsouled by Neal Shusterman. I recommend all of these books but I would also recommend reading the first book of the series, Unwind before reading the third book Unsouled.
